consecutive sum is perfect square

Arrange numbers from 1 to 16 such that the sum of every two consecutive numbers in the arrangement is a perfect square (you can use a number only once).

  2. the sum of first two numbers itself is not a perfect square in the above answer.
    The answer will be :
    8,1,15,10,6,3,13,12,4,5,11,14,2,7,9,16

  3. @Alpi--I guess 16+9=25 is a perfect square..I am not able to understand you..Please elaborate
